Paid Parent Leave Scheme
The Government's Paid Parental Leave Scheme has been enacted, and the current stage of development by FAHSCIA will flow through to introduction on 1 January 2011, subject to the outcomes of the 2010 Commonwealth Election.
The Minister for Families ( Jenny Macklin) has appointed an Implementation Working Group to oversee the introduction of the scheme. Marie Coleman has been invited to represent the NFAW on this Group.
